Actress and Singer Lauren B. Martin took home another two Indie Series Awards, including her second for her performance as grieving mother ‘Chevonne Lyles’ on the Emmy-winning series “Anacostia,” at the 12th Annual Indie Series Awards in Los Angeles last night, and the ensemble acting honor for her voice work as the devious Dominique on serial audio drama “Forever and a Day.”

A vision on the red carpet in bold gold and cream, with sexy snake print trousers, Martin came into the 12th edition of the popular awards program the night’s top nominee, with seven nominations for her work as an actress on “Anacostia”; actress, writer, producer, and costume designer on “Reality Sets In”; and voice work on the audio serial “Forever and a Day.”
